Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE — to set]. These Terms are a working draft pending legal review.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Scheduleit (the "Service"), operated by [Legal Entity], [Jurisdiction] ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
1. The Service
Scheduleit is an automation and scheduling platform for developers. It lets you schedule HTTP webhooks and transactional emails to endpoints and recipients that you control or have verified, delivered once or on an interval or cron schedule, with retries, signing, and delivery reporting. It is infrastructure you integrate into your own application — not a messaging, marketing, or outreach product.
2. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular:
- The Service is not for unsolicited, bulk, or marketing messaging.
- You may only schedule email to verified recipient addresses, and the Service enforces address verification before it will send.
- You are responsible for having a lawful basis, and any necessary consent, to contact the recipients and call the endpoints you configure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
3. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You must provide accurate account information and be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
4. Payment and billing
Paid plans are billed through Polar, which acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record — Polar processes payments and handles applicable taxes. Pricing, the metered usage model, renewal, and cancellation are described on our Pricing and Refund & Cancellation pages. Subscriptions renew and metered usage accrues until you cancel.
5. Your data
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Where you use the Service to process personal data of your own users, our Data Processing Agreement applies and you act as the controller.
6. Availability and warranties
We aim for the service levels described in our documentation, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the [12] months before the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy) or to comply with law. You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time as described on the Refund & Cancellation page.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give reasonable notice; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Operated by [Legal Entity], [Business Address]. Questions: contact us at support@getscheduleit.app or via our contact page.
