Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: [DATE — to set]. This policy is a working draft pending legal review.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses Scheduleit (the "Service"). It exists to keep the Service — and its email-sending reputation — clean and lawful. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Breach may lead to suspension or termination.
Scheduleit is automation infrastructure
Scheduleit schedules webhooks and transactional emails to endpoints and recipients that you control or have verified — order confirmations, alerts, reminders, digests, and similar app-driven notifications. It is not a marketing, outreach, or bulk-messaging tool.
Email: verified, wanted, transactional
- You may only send email to addresses that have completed the Service's verification flow. The Service enforces this.
- You must have a lawful basis and any required consent to contact each recipient. Recipients must reasonably expect your messages.
- You must honour opt-outs and unsubscribe requests promptly.
Prohibited uses
You must not use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited, bulk, or marketing email; cold outreach; lead generation; or any message the recipient did not ask for or expect.
- Send spam, phishing, malware, or deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent content.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or infringe the rights (including privacy or intellectual-property rights) of others.
- Transmit unlawful content, or content harmful to minors.
- Attack, overload, probe, or interfere with any system or network — yours, ours, or a third party's — including using scheduled requests for denial-of-service or amplification.
- Circumvent usage limits, resell the Service without authorisation, or use it to build a competing bulk-messaging product.
- Violate any applicable law or the acceptable-use terms of any downstream provider.
High-volume and sensitive use
