Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: [DATE — to set]. This policy is a working draft pending legal review.
This policy explains billing, renewals, cancellation, and refunds for Scheduleit. Payments are processed by Polar, our reseller and Merchant of Record.
Billing and renewal
Paid plans are subscriptions with metered usage. A subscription's base fee recurs each billing period, and metered usage (per the Pricing page) accrues during the period. Charges recur until you cancel. You are billed through Polar, which issues receipts and handles applicable taxes.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time — no email or phone call required — from the Polar customer portal linked in your billing receipts and from the operator console. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period; metered usage already incurred in the period remains payable.
Refund eligibility
- Subscription fees are [generally non-refundable except where required by law / refundable within [14] days of a charge if the Service was not used — confirm the policy you want to offer].
- Metered usage already delivered is non-refundable, as the work was performed.
- If you were charged in error, or the Service materially failed to perform, contact us and we will make it right.
As Merchant of Record, Polar may also issue refunds at its discretion (typically within 60 days of a charge) in line with its own policies and applicable law.
How to request a refund or report a billing issue
Email billing@getscheduleit.app or use our contact page with your account email and the charge in question. We aim to respond within one business day.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable consumer law.
